NEXTHANDS handles your information with care. We only use it to respond, plan a conversation, follow up on your question and keep the website working safely.

Data controller

Personal data we may process
Depending on what you submit or click, we may process your name, email address, phone number, postcode, date of birth (required when you sign up at an event, otherwise if you fill it in), the kind of work you are looking for, when you can start, driving-licence status, your level of Dutch and the language you chose (event sign-up via a QR code), answers in a check or advice flow, messages you submit, and technical information needed to operate and secure the website.
Why we use your information
We use information to follow up on checks, contact requests and advice calls; discuss whether a role or route may suit you; answer employer enquiries; arrange appointments; prevent spam and technical issues; and improve the website using general statistics when you have given permission.
Legal bases
We process information to respond to a request you make, for our legitimate interests in normal follow-up, security and website improvement, with your consent for optional cookies or updates, and where required by law for administration or tax records.
Sharing information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only when necessary for your request, the technology behind this website or a legal obligation. Cloudflare validates form submissions and spam protection. Your validated contact details and answers are sent independently to our CRM and, through Resend, in internal emails to the responsible contacts. This allows follow-up when the CRM is unavailable. Copies at Resend and in our business mailboxes are covered by the same retention rules and privacy rights. We share information with a potential training provider or employer only when needed for a genuine next step and when this follows from your request or has been discussed with you.
Service providers
Services used for the website and its operation may include Microsoft Clarity for analytics after consent; Google Analytics 4 for statistics after consent and a cookieless signal without consent; Meta Pixel for advertising measurement after marketing consent; Cloudflare for hosting, form processing and Turnstile; Resend for internal form notifications; and NEXTHANDS’ business email provider.
Retention
We keep information only as long as necessary. We generally keep enquiries without follow-up for up to 12 months. Information about active routes, employer arrangements or administration may be kept for as long as needed. The law may require a longer retention period.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Some storage is needed for the website to function, for example to remember cookie preferences or a completed check. Optional measurement and marketing technologies depend on your consent. After analytics consent, Microsoft Clarity may measure interactions such as clicks, scrolling and session replays. Google Analytics 4 measures visits and page views; we do not send it your name, email address or phone number. The Google tag also loads before a choice is made. Without consent it does not set cookies or recognise you, but sends Google a cookieless signal about page views and button clicks (such as Apply or WhatsApp, never what you type) with your IP address and browser information so Google can estimate total visits. You can object by emailing us. If you consent to marketing, Meta Pixel measures pages visited after an advert. We do not send Meta your name, email address or phone number.
International transfers
Google Ireland Limited and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited may transfer information to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. For Meta Pixel data collection and transmission, NEXTHANDS and Meta act as joint controllers. See our cookie notice for more detail.
Your rights
You may ask what information we hold about you and request that it be corrected or deleted. You may withdraw consent at any time. Email info@nexthands.nl. We may ask for information to confirm that a request is genuinely yours.
Complaints and changes
If we cannot resolve a privacy concern, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl. We update this notice when our forms, cookies, services or practices change; the date on the Dutch notice shows when it was last updated.
